I started in the real estate business in 1988 on the west side of Vancouver and over the years I have seen many changes in the real estate industry, but one thing remains the same and that is that the quality of services and personal relationships still form the foundation of this business. This is after all, a people business much more than it is a real estate transaction. It is not by accident that most of the people I do business with end up as friends and close associates. I take very serious care to continue to educate myself both personally and professionally and to keep apprised of the current and changing so that I can perform at the highest levels for my clients.
Often people will gauge what Realtor they want to work with based on their recommended value for the home and the commissions they charge. I can tell you right now, that most Realtors (if they have any sense of the market) are going to give you around the same price for your home. However, at the end of the day, it's not you or your Realtor that decides the value of your home - it is what the marketplace supports and what buyers will pay. I know that sounds harsh, but that is the reality of Real Estate. Having said that, with the right marketing stragety and presentation of your property, we can entice buyers to pay top dollar.
With those 28 years of experience comes confidence and skill when it comes time to negotiate the sale of your home. My extensive knowledge of the market and the transactional process will be of assistance in securing the most favourable price and conditions for the sale of your home or your purchase of a new one.
